El gato en el tejado
Había una vez en un pequeño pueblo, un gato llamado Tito que amaba la aventura. Tito era conocido por su pelaje negro y sus ojos verdes brillantes que parecían esmeraldas. Todos los días, Tito exploraba los jardines, los callejones y las casas de sus vecinos. Pero su lugar favorito era el tejado de la casa más alta del pueblo.
El tejado era su refugio, un lugar desde donde podía observar todo el pueblo. Tito pasaba horas allí, disfrutando del sol, la brisa y la vista panorámica. Desde lo alto, veía a los niños jugando en las calles, a las personas yendo y viniendo, y a los pájaros volando en el cielo.
Una tarde, mientras Tito descansaba en su lugar preferido del tejado, escuchó un sonido extraño. Era un leve maullido que venía del otro extremo del tejado. Tito se levantó y, con cautela, se acercó al sonido. Allí encontró a un pequeño gatito, temblando de miedo.
El gatito, de nombre Luna, se había perdido y no sabía cómo bajar. Tito, con su experiencia y valentía, decidió ayudarla. Primero, la calmó con suaves maullidos y caricias. Luego, lentamente, la guió por el tejado hasta un lugar seguro desde donde ambos pudieron bajar.
Luna estaba agradecida y comenzó a seguir a Tito a todas partes. Los dos se convirtieron en amigos inseparables y juntos exploraron nuevos tejados y rincones del pueblo. Tito le enseñó a Luna todos los secretos de los tejados y cómo disfrutar de las vistas sin miedo.
Desde ese día, los habitantes del pueblo vieron a Tito y Luna siempre juntos en el tejado, disfrutando del sol y la brisa, y sabían que el tejado más alto del pueblo era el lugar favorito de los dos gatos aventureros.
English Translation: The Cat on the Roof
Once upon a time in a small town, there was a cat named Tito who loved adventure. Tito was known for his black fur and bright green eyes that looked like emeralds. Every day, Tito explored the gardens, alleys, and houses of his neighbors. But his favorite place was the roof of the tallest house in town.
The roof was his refuge, a place where he could observe the entire town. Tito spent hours there, enjoying the sun, the breeze, and the panoramic view. From up high, he saw children playing in the streets, people coming and going, and birds flying in the sky.
One afternoon, while Tito was resting in his favorite spot on the roof, he heard a strange sound. It was a faint meow coming from the other end of the roof. Tito got up and cautiously approached the sound. There he found a small kitten, trembling with fear.
The kitten, named Luna, had gotten lost and didn't know how to get down. Tito, with his experience and bravery, decided to help her. First, he calmed her with soft meows and gentle touches. Then, slowly, he guided her across the roof to a safe place from where they both could climb down.
Luna was grateful and began to follow Tito everywhere. The two became inseparable friends and together explored new roofs and corners of the town. Tito taught Luna all the secrets of the rooftops and how to enjoy the views without fear.
From that day on, the townspeople always saw Tito and Luna together on the roof, enjoying the sun and the breeze, and they knew that the tallest roof in town was the favorite place of the two adventurous cats.
